Microsoft Excel is a powerful Mathematical tool and the most used spreadsheet program. Learning Microsoft Excel has been made easy by the availability of free courses. Some of the learning sites are;

This is the official Microsoft website which contains Microsoft Excel endless training tutorials. Microsoft offers live coaching to help in learning all excel formulas and tips,

This is a self-paced Microsoft Excel learning site. The course is subdivided into 7 modules consisting of 26 video lessons with 12+ learning hours. The best thing about Trump EXCEL is that it requires no enrollment and it has free Excel templates and a detailed blog containing Excel tips.

This site is very resourceful in learning Excel it contains charting tutorials, visualization ideas, downloadable Excel tutorials, and awesome Excel tips. It has 500+ excellent tutorials, examples, and downloadable workbooks for you.

4. My Great Learning.

This is a Great learning site it not only offers free training it also awards students a certificate upon completion of the course. The basic beginner Excel courses are self-paced and take only 2 hours. Interested students are only required to enroll to gain access to the course.                       

5.  Simplilearn

Simplilearn offers an introductory course to MS Excel which helps the learner understand and learn. Learners are required to enroll to access the course. This gives all enrolled students 90 days of course access and a certificate upon completion. 

6. EdX

EdX offers a variety of MS Excel courses. It has both paid and free courses. The courses range from beginner-level to master’s degree programs. Some Free EdX MS Excel courses are;

  • Analyzing Data with Excel offers fundamental knowledge in using Excel spreadsheets to perform basic data tasks.
  • Excel for Everyone: Core Foundations —this course covers foundational knowledge of Excel including data wrangling, spreadsheet management, and basic data analysis.

Coursera offers expert guided Excel courses for students who enroll and register for the Excel courses. Coursera offers free and paid Excel courses with a digital certificate upon course completion.

W3Schools has Excel tutorials, examples, and test exercises. Like W3Resource, the learner can track his/her progress with the free “My Learning” program at W3Schools. However, this is an optional feature. One can study W3Schools without using My Learning.
